Karen Guy
Karen Guy is an Illustrator and artist who produces hand drawn images of plants, animals and all aspects the natural world. Karen works on a private commission basis.
After working as a nurse in the NHS for 43 years Karen recently graduated with an MA in Illustration from Falmouth University. She gained a distinction in her final portfolio based around the 3D project: Remedies for Today’s Ills - A Cabinet of Curiosities.
Her exhibition of antique bottles with reimagined labels tells the story of human experience and socio-cultural issues. As well as being witty and humorous the work is thoughtful, provocative and they make perfect Christmas presents!
Kirsten Jones
Kirsten creates pieces inspired by treasured objects, bottles, nature and possessions. The collection shown will be selected originals and limited edition prints.
Charlie Smillie
Charlie creates coral inspired ceramics in stoneware.
Inspired by his background in marine conservation and the natural growth patterns of corals and interactions between species found on coral reefs, Charlie draws on his experience from the hundreds of dives he has completed all around the world.
Charlie’s coral sculptures are highly sought after.
